Language Lab Installation

On the 23rd of April, a date famously known as William Shakespeare’s birthday, St. Kabir Indian International School proudly inaugurated its new Language Club. This event marked a significant milestone in the school’s commitment to fostering linguistic and literary skills among its students.

The inauguration ceremony was a vibrant celebration, showcasing the diverse talents of students across grades 4 to 10. The festivities began with a captivating play based on Shakespeare’s “The Merchant of Venice,” which highlighted the students’ impressive acting abilities and their deep understanding of classic literature.

In addition to the play, the event featured a unique segment where students embodied renowned authors and authoresses from around the world. Notable figures such as Jane Austen, Rabindranath Tagore, and Ruskin Bond were brought to life, with students delivering engaging monologues and dialogues that offered insights into the lives and works of these literary giants.

To further emphasize the importance of language proficiency, a quiz competition was held to test the students’ linguistic prowess. The quiz covered a broad range of topics, challenging participants to demonstrate their knowledge and quick thinking.

The idea for the Language Club was initiated by our esteemed Founder Director, Ms. Radhika Tandon. Her vision of creating a platform for students to explore and enhance their language skills was enthusiastically embraced and brought to fruition by our dedicated Principal, Ms. Namita Anand. Their collaborative efforts have paved the way for what promises to be an enriching and inspiring journey for all students involved.

The inauguration of the Language Club has set a high benchmark for future events, and we look forward to seeing the continued growth and development of our students’ linguistic talents.
