Krishna Janamashtmi

Students of STK IIS celebrated Krishna Janmashtami, an annual commemoration of birth of the Hindu deity Krishna with full enthusiasm!!! Yet another action packed day at STK IIS.

Krishna Janmashtami or Gokulashtami at St Kabir Indian International School is celebrated with lots of enthusiasm & liveliness. Students and staff created a brilliantly colourful stage presentation, where students performed songs, dances, and a little role-play.

Overjoyed with various shlokas, prayers, and songs dedicated to Krishna Leela, everyone had a great divine experience. The historical tales of Krishna, Radha, and Kans were presented to the students and attendees through plays and narrations to raise their awareness of Janmashtami. Various elements like Radha -Krishna dance, Skit , shloka chanting were included in the assembly. The main event of the day was Dahi-handi which had students jumping with excitement!
