A turncoat debate competition was organised on 26th July for the students of Grade 9 & 10 to hone 21st century skills of the students and teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions. The session was the kaleidoscope of opinions, thoughts and perspective that enhanced the knowledge and understanding in the students about the topic. Some of the points which were presented, made us think about the facts. There was so much talent in the offing.The judges for the event were Dr Sheetal Shinkhede, Assistant Director Computer Engineering & Lecturer from Dept of Electrical Engineering, Polytechnic, Vadodara. Dr Dharmishta Vishwakarma a lecturer at Polytechnic, M.S.University, Vadodara, and Mr Sabir Dosani, Bachelor in Design and a Civil Engineer working for a U.K. based Design firm who graced the occasion with their presence and the winners of the competition were Yancy Patel (grade X) who secured the first position, Jayani Purohit (grade X) who stood second and Jalaj Gupta (grade IX) who secured the 3rd position. On the whole, it was a great day.
