Preparatory

The Preparatory stage for students in Grades 3 to 5 is designed to facilitate a smooth transition from play-based learning to a more structured and interactive classroom learning approach. The primary objective of this phase is to establish a solid foundation across a diverse range of subjects, such as reading, writing, speaking, physical education, art, languages, science, and mathematics. Through this phase, students are exposed to a comprehensive curriculum that helps them develop essential skills and knowledge necessary for their academic and personal growth.

St. Kabir Indian International School is dedicated to fostering cultural awareness, creativity, expression, and diversity in young learners, to help them develop their social, emotional, and intellectual skills. The school organizes events that reflect current global contexts and scenarios. The school offers a range of programs, including panel discussions, debates, Model United Nations (MUNs), and investiture, that provide students with platforms to enhance their analytical skills and think on their feet. Through these programs, children develop vital skills such as effective communication, collaboration, and critical thinking, which come naturally to Kabirites.

Learners will be assessed in a continuous and comprehensive manner through projects, performances, worksheets, written and oral expressions, hands on experiments, individual and group tasks. They will be graded and will be given qualitative remarks for the specific skill development aspects within each subject. The main purpose of assessment is to help identify gaps in student’s learning and the remedial measures that can be undertaken to reduce the learning gaps.
