St. Kabir fraternity never fails to extend learning and educate its teachers to witness the children excel in the pursuit of the life’s journey. With this proffer, a workshop on IDENTIFYING GIFTED CHILDREN AND CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS was held on November 4, 2017 in the AV Room at St. Kabir Gujarat Board School by Ms. Lata Iyer, a Professional Special Educator, Academic Consultant and Dyslexia Therapist. The objective of the workshop was to develop programmes to identify and nurture the abilities of gifted children and support them by building networks of parents, teachers, educators and professionals. Different methodologies and customized were showcased that depicted the ways to have keen observation and identification for various age groups. St. Kabir wants to ensure that no child with special needs is denied to seek education and gets the best helping hand to develop their abilities to the fullest and to channel their abilities to nation-building.

The session was concluded with a very optimistic and promising outlook for gifted children.
