The National Children Science Congress (NCSC) announced the science research project competition. This is supported by GUJCOST, DST, GoG to promote scientific aptitude among school-aged children irrespective of their economic status and whether they are enrolled in any school or not. The various categories under which student groups were expected to research and present their findings at this first level (city level) through charts and oral presentations were – Health Hygiene and Nutrition, Lifestyle and Liveiihood, Food and Agriculture, Energy, Natural Resource Management, Disaster Management, and Traditional Knowledge Systems.
Two groups of St Kabir Indian International School have been awarded 1st Position in Natural Resource Management, and second position in Traditional Knowledge Systems, thereby clearing the city level round. The team leaders, Chirayu Sastry (Grade 8) and Devaki Anupkumar (Grade 8) will now represent their groups at the state level in November at Ahmedabad (with their Teachere Guides – Smita Srivastava and Sandeep Joshi)
