Competitions play a role in motivating students to perform, excel and offer a lot more reward than just the winning prize. Competitions offer a chance for participants to gain substantial experience, showcase skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude. It also encourages students to adopt innovative techniques and develop their ideas and skills.
Like every year Nalanda International School again organised a fest of inter-school competition named “Expressions” Unveiling Creativity….on 13th January 2018 This competition consisted of different categories for different age groups.
Category A Food and drinks – Fancy dress competition
Category B Buttons and ribbons- The hat decoration competition
Category C The Old and the New – The fairy Tale narration competition
Category D Love and lyrics – The Romantic Duet Song Competition
Category E Journeys and Travel – The Soft board Decoration Competition
A group of 10 students from St. Kabir Indian International School had participated in this competition.
Krina Patel of Gr.1A won Consolation prize in Fancy dress competition
Aarna Rajan of Gr. 3C won 1st prize and Sayam Desai of Gr.2C won Consolation prize in The Hat decoration competition
Avnish Khokde of 4 C and Shubra Shinde of Gr. 5B won 1st prize in The fairy tale narration competition
Remanika Tandon and Anurag Kark of Gr.6B won 3rd prize in The Romantic duet song competition
And above all out of 11 other schools, our school got the Overall Performance Trophy as well. It was a proud moment for us.
