The teachers and the students came together to participate in this mega event, where the students showcased their contribution towards preserving the environment in the form of skits and dances.

The highlights of the event were –

Students of grade 5 B- Atharva and Jaival released their first book for KEDI Library and shared their experience on the same. Rushil, Ruju and Rutu presented their initiative of eco-friendly planters. Gr-4A presented a skit based on the true story of Japanese Hornet Bees which teaches us teamwork and management.

GR 5A students presented a wonderful skit on the importance of Indian lifestyle and food habits.

GR 6 students showcased how food travels from farms to homes. Abhiraj Sinh of GR 1B and GR 5B students presented an informative skit on ‘Bats’.

Students of GR 4 harvested the crops and Students of GR 6 chopped the vegetables for cooking.

A documentary on KEDI was shown to students followed by percussion using vegetables like carrots, drumsticks etc. This was indeed the most exhilarating experience for all.

Kids enjoyed outdoor games like Hopscotch or Stapoo, latto, gilli danda, kanche or marbles and pithu or satodiyoo. They also enjoyed a Kathputli Show.

Last but not the least the vegetables were cooked and the students were offered the yummy sabzi made by the school cook.

Thank you parents for all your support and appreciation. We look forward to an amazing experience with KEDI in the coming year!
