Garbha, the traditional dance form of Gujarat, that continues for nine days is considered to be the longest dance festival. It’s rather a unique way of seeking blessings from the goddess.
The first Navratri celebration at St. Kabir,Chapad left everyone spell bound. Festival is the time for bonding, and the celebration at school showed the bond between students, teachers and parents. The day began with the Arti of goddess Amba. The melodious arti songs sung by students were really soulful.
Students, teachers and parents tapped their feet to the beats, with full vigour and enthusiasm. A special appreciation for the orchestra team for their wonderful performance. The colourful traditional dresses and the graceful dance steps made the school camps vibrant. The smile and joy on the faces of students added extra colour to the celebration.
